Sitemeter is down today

Sitemeter, the favorite hit counter and referral tracking tool of the blogosphere, is down today. This must be extremely annoying to those bloggers who live and breathe their site's statistics.

But not me. Although it's nice that I get a huge amount of Google traffic, I know that no one really sticks around to read anything.

Sorry about that. The hosting center for Site Meter was having networking problems for about 12 hours and that was blocking access to the Site Meter servers located in their facility. I'm very disgusted with their support and have started moving the servers to a new hosting center that should be more reliable. That should be completed in the next week.

I've been finding that happening a lot this week and it's very frustrating. I can get in sometimes and not other times.
