Smart woman in a short short skirt

The title of this post is from a Jimmy Buffett song. But while exiting the Orange Line on Monday evening, I noticed a young woman in a very short skirt reading an Ayn Rand novel. Smart, and a libertarian too! It was a very strange site. Normally all the women on the Metro seem to be raging liberals.

Meanwhile, I'm now reading The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein, which is like a science fiction version of Atlas Shrugged, except that The Moon is a Harsh Mistress has a more interesting story and a lot more sex, but it seems kind of short on the politics.
