When did the Washingtonienne story jump the shark?

Wonkette posted in her blog on Wednesday about the Jessica Cutler/Washingtonienne story jumping the shark (as if she really wants that to happen).

However, The Calico Cat has learned that a mysterious blogger from Chicago, known only as "The Backer," sent Wonkette an email on Sunday where he wrote that the story was jumping the shark. Of course, Wonkette didn't give him any credit for his observation.

I cannot believe that no one has figured out that this whole "scandal" was devised by Wonkette and Washingtonienne to get publicity for their sorry asses.

Jessica (washingtonienne) clearly wrote her blog with the hopes of getting a book deal out of it, then "leaked" it to Wonkette. Want more proof? Read http://www.acepilots.com/mt/

There are just too many coincidences for this to have been this completely random occurance like they are trying to have you believe it is.
